Erin Jensen

Erin is the founder of Woods Rose Skincare and has been a practising Facialist since 2015. Educated with The Esthetics Institute, she received an Honours distinction as a Facial Therapist as well as certification as a Relaxation Massage Technician. She is also currently enrolled with The Wild Rose College of Natural Healing, training as a Practical Herbalist.

Her approach to skin care is holistic, therapeutic, and realistic. She does not believe in fear-based beauty treatments, and believes skin care should be about caring for oneself and learning to relax in the stillness of treatments. She approaches each client and each treatment step with presence and care. Her touch has been described as “healing” and “magic,” and she believe wholeheartedly that the somatic experience of both offering and receiving facials grants therapeutic benefits beyond just skincare.

Jenn Brodsky

Jenn Brodsky received her certification of Esthetics in 2001 and most recently completed her certification as a Facials Therapist with The Esthetics Institute in Calgary. She completed her apprenticeship training with Erin at Woods Rose Skincare in June 2022. Jenn’s interest in Holistic Skincare was peaked as a client of Erin’s where she appreciated the mix of safe, low-pressure skin care and self-care that she felt was missing from the industry. She loves working with clients and experiencing the transfer of energy that comes in offering therapeutic skincare treatments.

Jenn’s touch is incredibly gentle and soothing, and she is incredibly skilled at both holding space for her clients, and helping clients make supportive choices for their at-home skincare rituals. Jenn has learned to trust her intuition when working with her clients and that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to skincare. She is committed to meeting clients where they are at on their journey.

In her personal life Jenn is a part-time potter and finds herself most at peace with her hands in clay. She also sits on the board of a non-profit loan association with The Calgary Jewish Family Loan Association as the Vice President and Loan Officer. Her greatest joy is being an Aunty to her nieces and nephews.
