My Current COVID-19 Policy
Since September 20th, many of us have been fumbling around with finding a PDF/QR code on our phone and showing our ID (or proof of a negative test) anytime we want to enter a restaurant or fitness studio.
Curiously, the Restrictions Exemption Program does not apply to personal care services, despite the proximity between clients and the folks who are serving them, which puts businesses like mine in an uncomfortable situation.
If you’ve been in my studio before, you can appreciate that the very nature of getting a facial means that you, my lovely client, cannot wear a mask. I hope you can also appreciate that my business is very much my livelihood and if I’m sick, I cannot do the work so many of you have come to enjoy.
Creating a safe space is critical to my work, which is why my preference is that clients receiving a facial at Woods Rose be fully vaccinated. In requiring this, I can help protect my clients and my business. For reassurance, I myself am triple vaccinated and am happy to present my vaccine records should that make you feel more comfortable in my studio! You are not required by law to present your vaccination status to me but I would appreciate it if you did prior to your appointment.
Exceptional circumstances will be considered for ongoing clients only.
