Secrets of Uganda is the combined efforts of a husband and wife team Sheldon and Stella out of Alberta, Canada. Our mission is to bring to the world – starting with Canada the most premium Shea Butter in the world while empowering the source communities in Uganda. Sheldon was born and raised in Canada where he enjoyed the benefits of living in a first world country.

Stella on the other hand was born and raised in Uganda a third world country, where hardships form much of the day to day lives of her people. Stella comes from Northern Uganda, a poorer region of the country where life is challenging with education and employment nearly non-existent following two decades of war. Through determination and resolve Stella found a way to attend University through the aid of a scholarship. Now Stella finds herself in a position to help her fellow women of Northern Uganda.

The Shea tree a rarer species known as Vitellaria Nilotica grows wild in Northern Uganda. It is the women of Northern Uganda who mainly collect the nuts of the Shea Tree which are then cold pressed to produce the superior Shea Butter Secrets of Uganda offers their clients.
